The Liebster Award 2018 Smashed

March 03, 2018

So I was double nominated for this so I decided to smash up your questions and pick my favorites. :) Additionally I'm breaking the "eleven" rules a bit (sorry not sorry :P) because the questions were so great I just ended up with 13 and not one did I want to eliminate.
I'm so happy to be back on the blogosphere with this tag since I have been gone again. Hopefully I can manage to be more regular with my schedule and not be such a blogosphere bunny :").

- Thank the person who nominated you. (Thank you, Audrey and Ivie! <3)
- Answer the eleven questions they gave you.
- Name eleven facts about yourself.
- Nominate eleven bloggers for this and let them know. (I think everyone is doing this and being double tagged, so I'm going to say that if you haven't done this and you would like to, I PERSONALLY NOMINATE YOU! :)
- Give them eleven questions. (pick from the questions answered below)

1. Favorite candy?

*enters a dream world of color and sweetness*
Myfavorites are skittles, smarties, nerds and gummy bears.

2. Favorite book?

My absolute favorite book is "Les Miserables". The plot is spotless and guaranteed for shockers

literal footage of me at parts

And the characters *sobs* don't even get me started. The romance is the sweetest too. The book addresses tough and painful social issues, it swept me up into the crisis and really made me think. ALSO THE QUOTABLES, this book has the actual best quotes ever. Go read it...NOW! :")

3.  Do you like candles?

Yesss! I love candles!
*sniffs*
Fall candles, winter candles, spring candles, summer candles.
I just love having a lingering scent in my room, it not only boosts the feel good vibe but brings back memories unlike anything.

4. Rainy day or sunshine?

Honestly it really depends on what I'm doing, for the introvert days when I feel like baking at home with books, tea, and my writing RAIN. But when I'm out and about I love sunshine.
But there is something sort of magical about rain hitting the roof, I'm a bit biased haha.

5. Reading or writing? (Yes, this is an evil question)

This is quite evil but what may be more evil is that the choice is pretty easy for me. I would read anyday before writing because let's be honest,

 I"M REALLY LAZY SOMETIMES.

6. Team Cap or Team Iron Man?

*blasts national anthem*
 TEAM CAP
TEAMMMMM CAAAAAAPPPP

Iron man cracks me up but listen...Steve is the absolute best. <3

absolutely unecessary but actually necessary *hyperventilates* *fangirls*

7. What’s your favorite word?

This is incredibly hard because lately I've been obsessing over and finding new words on Pinterest, so I'm constantly finding new favorite words. Currently though this one will not stop to amaze and intrigue me,
GUYS ITS AMAZING, THERE IS A WORD FOR ALMOST EVERYTHING...you just have to look for it.

8. If it could only be one season for an entire year, which would you choose?

spring
A beautiful time when flowers are blooming and the air is light. The weather not too warm or cold. The time filled where the world bubbles with sounds and smells of life.

The only possible problem I have with spring is sneezing all the time due to pollen allergies :) Eternal sneezing doesn't sound too fun but I feel like I'd get used to it in time.

9. What’s your favorite book of the bible?

More like books for the indecisive me :)
My favorites are
John, Psalms, Ecclesiastes and Song of Solomon

10. What were your favorite novels in middle school?

Ooh, I loved Anne of Green Gables. To this day I will always have an obsession with red hair and freckles...and poetry :)

I was also pretty obsessed with American girl books, Dear America and the classic Nancy Drew. AND BOXCAR CHILDREN <333

11. If you could learn any language, what would it be?

Because I am utterly dysfunctional my heart is drawn to 2 languages that almost no one speaks:
Latin and Elven Sindarin.

12. Which do you like better: thunderstorms or blizzards?

Thunderstorms. The feeling of standing out as the rain thrums the world and lightning flashes in the sky followed by the magnanimous crash of thunder. The power and awe the flashes through my soul each time I witness it is indescribable.

13. What’s someplace you’ve always wanted to visit?

I want to visit little gems that no one knows about, I just want to take a huge roadtrip and stop by those intriguing little cafes, dawdle in antique shops, take long walks on isolated beaches or hidden hikes. Sure there are some biggies I'd love to see...but nothing compares to those off the chart locations.

 11 Personal Facts

1. I'm partly double jointed
2. I love spicy stuff
3. I'm perfectly obsessed with anything having to do with stars or space
4. I'm the oldest child in my family
5. I've been out of the country more than once
6. My creative inspiration always strikes me in the evening or night
7. I was born in July
8. My first love: FOOD <3 xD
9. I speak 4 languages
10. I am 17 years old
11. I'm an ambivert, I'm generally more extroverted but need plenty of recharging time

YESSSS, TEAM CAP IS THE BESTEST

Right??? It's so cool that there's a word for it.

That must be so cool, and Elven is the best. Any ancient languages for that matter :)

The struggle is real but there are also so many benefits! xD I speak French, Armenian, Russian and...well English :)

  5. The fact that there's an actual word for the stars we see when we rub our eye is amazing! Also, what countries have you visited? I've visited Canada and the Philippines, so that's about it for me, although I'd love to explore more. And it's funny how books can help us look at different view points-- I actually kind of wrote a blog post about exploring viewpoints via conversation just recently! xD

    1. You should have seen my face when I discovered the word!!! Language is so amazing. I've visited Armenia, Belgium, Switzerland, Ghana, England. Im really lucky to have had that experience but sadly I saw them all when I was a kid. The last time I traveled was when I was eleven.

I must check it out! That sounds like a really cool post! <3 Thanks so much for commenting Abby

  6. This is a really fun post!!! I'm 17 too... and my creative inspiration also strikes me in the evening or at night. Sometimes late at night, I will be trying to get some sleep, but my mind keeps racing with ideas. I have to sit up, turn on the light, and find a scrap of paper, just so I can write down my ideas so I won't forget in the morning! Thanks for sharing some fun facts!
P.S. I just started a blog and would love it if you stopped by! bensshowersofblessings.blogspot.com

  7. Candles are the best honestly <3 One of my favorite things has to be walking into a room and getting hit with a wonderful scent. It kind of refreshes my mind in a way! OOH I really want to read Les Miserables. I've heard so, so much about it through the blogging world. Maybe when I get more time (if that ever happens) I'll give it a go :)

Yes! You should! I really understand, it's quite a chunk of a book to read but oh so worth it. :)

  8. I just did this one recently!!! And I totally agree about the rain thing. TEA!!!! Yes, tea NOT coffee!!!! And yes, learning Elvish would be awesome. Do you use the Parf Edhellen translating website? I love it because it's like a dictionary for both Quenya and Sindarin.
Hey, I'm turning 17 on Friday and am the oldest in our house too!!!

  10. As an aspiring bilingual (or trilingual as I am GREEDY), I am jealous of your polyglot self. *sighs* I must work harder!

I'm also way more of a reader than a writer *sighs* I must work harder at that as well.

I really enjoy spicy stuff as well. SPICY STUFF IS AWESOME.

I like Ecclesiastes as well. It's a little less optimistic but I like how it makes me think, you know?
