Double tagged: The Sunshine Blogger Tag

August 12, 2017

Well, well...I got DOUBLE tagged for the Sunshine Blogger tag. So get ready for a fun light Q&A session with plenty of Gifs!
I am sorry for the long and messy format! For some weird reason my blogger is being very uncooperative and the editing is glitching out.

___

First off thank you so much Lisa for tagging me! I am so late on this one!

1. Do you have favorite fictional families/siblings and who are they?

The Ingalls family from the show, Little House on the Prairie.

I mean I grew up on this show and so what it's cheesy, I LOVE IT.

Ahh...Laura and this season, I was literally laughing all the way through. The way they portrayed the love story is hilarious.

<3 Also Sam Gamgee and Rosie <3

 THEY ARE SO CUTE agdubzdgiwjgdfs
*sobs*

2. If you could reform one villain (book or movie) who would it be?

The boys in the Lord of the Flies. That book always wrenched me…

3. If you could work with/be the apprentice of/learn from one historical figure (hero or not) who would it be?

Jesus of course!<3

4. Have you ever dreamed (when you were asleep, of course) that you were in a book or movie? If so, which ones?

I dreamed that I was in Narnia more than once. Isn't that the ideal dream spot???

I don’t usually dream that I am in a book though…my dreams usually set the scenes and inspire my own book ideas :).

5. What are you favorite kinds of book titles (e.g. one word, a reference, symbolism, with a certain word in them...)?

I love short titles packed full of meaning…I also like peculiar words and names, especially if the book is fantasy.

6. If you could be the "sidekick" of one fictional character, who would it be?

I would love to be Anne’s sidekick, I love the friendship relationships in the Anne series. The clarity and closeness is incredible, as well as being able to speak as if you are writing poetry, YES.

I haven't watched the movie but this is one favorite scene from the book.  The feels, the childhood memories *nostalgia* I related so badly to Anne.

7. If you were a superhero, what would be your power?

Anything to help others…maybe healing power? The power of seeing beyond lies and masks? Invisibility? Flying? Anything to help the world be a better place and help people around me.

8. If you entered a fictional world, what is the worst thing that could happen to you?

Being tortured. I wouldn’t last long :/

9. What kinds of book covers do you not like?

Stereotypical book covers with a boring character face melded into some kind of scene, there are exceptions but most of the time I’ll abandon it. Generally any bad book cover is a disappointment, even though I usually don't judge a book from its cover. :)

10. Which fictional character would you want as your sidekick?

Legolas. Sister/Brother Elf team . Sounds incredibly wonderful and I love bows and arrows. *ignoring the fact that I cannot even do proper archery* And yes I am an elf! *stubborn face* I have pointy ears, no kidding, and I do look quite like an elf sometimes...sometimes *little sigh*

11. What fictional character would you want as your arch-nemesis?

Jean Valjean *cackles*

  _______

And thank you to Mira for tagging me again!

1. What person, living or dead (or fictional) has been the biggest inspiration in your life?

First of all Jesus.
Beyond that I could list many people,
but one of the deepest impressions I ever had was from "The Little Mermaid" in Hans Christian Anderson's story, she sacrificed her happiness and ultimately life for the one she loved. Above that she did the right thing. Instead of thinking about herself, she did what was right, even though it cost her life.
That's always hit me hard.

ENFP. I am more of an extrovert but I need time to recharge and if that doesn't happen then I feel like digging a hole and burying myself in it. Also I'd sometimes rather be quiet and withdraw from certain people than bump in the way my curious extroverted spirit usually wishes to do.
The strength and weakness on the MBTI page are spot on, if you want to know me better, read that page.

3. What could you give a forty minute presentation on with no preparation?

I could give a presentation on pretty much any motivational subject.
I LOVE to talk...and as long as my audience seems kind then I'll rattle off with no issue.

4. What is the nicest compliment you have ever received?

It's so hard to choose one...people have said really kind things to me. But one of the kindest came from someone who knew me the best, those words to this day keep me going on my darkest day.
My friend told me to keep going...that I could do or be anything I wanted to be, that I was incredibly talented and that I could do absolutely anything I set my mind to
I might keep the fire of my dreams going, but my friend sparked that fire in the first place.
If you are reading this my friend,  Thank you. Though you may be far, far away you are never far from my heart.

5. What hobby would you get into if time or money weren't an issue?

Traveling! I would travel and blog about it. That would be a dream come true!

6. Favorite time period?

Why art thou doing this to me! I love so many time periods...yet I must say, I do have a fascination with the Ancient time period.

7. What is something most people are obsessed with, but you just don't get the point of?

*clears throat* Fidget Spinners. Enough said.

8. C.S. Lewis or J.R.R. Tolkien?

Ahh why!?
 I must say...J.R.R Tolkien.
But you all should know that I love C. S. Lewis just as much, just when given choices...ahem.

9. What is your advice to other teen bloggers out there?
Have fun! Don't get into peer pressure, don't feel inadequate, blog about what you love and what you do, get into a close knit community. I blogged solitary for four months and then I found this incredible group of people that were Christians and writers and songwriters and artists...just like me! That was incredible. So find community, it's really important.

  1. Awesome answers! *cheers* and yes Legolas is...awesome!! and I agree about wanting Legolas as your sidekick (or maybe..being his sidekick) . and I would definitely reform the boys from Lord of The Flies from being villains...though I feel like the author must have stolen the title from something...

    Anyway...I enjoyed reading your answers,

  6. I loved your answers to this tag!

I love LHOTP!! And I agree, whoever wrote that 6th season or whatever needed a hard book slap. Like seriously, the characterization of Almanzo was completely WRONG.

You've never watched the Sullivan Entertainment Anne of Green Gables movie?????
Watch it. Watch it now. You have to. Lia will back me up on this one.

yess...dreams are perfect muse playground, LOL.

    1. YES on LHOTP! He was so weak! I was like "oh come on" the whole way through.

Noo! But I really need to now that you are telling me! Plus since I love the Anne series so much I really want to watch the movie, just heard some bad reviews on some editions but I'll check the one you told me about.

Absolutely! I think we both struggle with fussy muses...

Thanks for reading and commenting Catherine! Also YAY to LHOTP, I'm not alone anymore xD.

  7. Loved reading your answers! <3
    I adore LHOTP!
:0 GO WATCH THE SULLIVAN ENTERTAINMENT ANNE OF GREEN GABLES STARRING MEGAN FOLLOWS. It's my all time favorite movie!
Traveling would be such a great hobby to take on! I'd love to that.
I don't understand fidget spinners either...

    Hmmm...
    1. Probably Anne of Green Gables or Rilla of Ingleside.
    2. I'm 5'8'' and I've always gotten comments on "wow, you're so tall compared to everybody else!" and "do you play basketball or any other sports?" No, just because I'm tall doesn't mean I'm athletic. I sadly lack skills in that area. Also finding long jeans that aren't huge around the waist!
    3. I can balance a spoon on my nose.
    4. The time and money to travel the world!
    5. Publish my novel.
6.I'm going to have to go with your answer, and say travel!
    7. I'm not really sure what happened, I just started a blog one day as a thirteen year old because I needed a way to share my words with the world.

    So fun! <3<3<3

    1. ANOTHER LHOTP fan!!! That means I DEFINITELY have to watch it since this since so many people are recommending!
Haha we agree on fidget spinners and traveling is the best thing ever.

And wow, I actually relate to your jeans problems, my trouble is finding jeans that are not too large at the waist but those end up always being chinos haha. Though I'm only 5'5...
We share quite a bit in common!
And thanks so much for sharing the answers and commenting Mira! <3

  8. I always love tags because I get to learn more about all you lovely people! <3 I don't think I would last very long if tortured in fiction either... He's hoping we never get trapped in fictional words then, huh? XD Great post!

  9. You should see the Anne of Green Gables movie. It such a great adaptation (the first one is the most faithful to the books, looking at all three with Megan Follows). xD I'm an INFO! One change in letter, but a different function organization (when looking at things like Fe, Si, Te, etc.).

Thank you for commenting and reading xox ^.^

  10. YAY! I loved your answers. XD
Um, I am 5'8" tall, and I've always been the tall one of my friends. XD
I WANT TO BE FREINDS WITH EITHER SHERLOCK HOLMES OR GANDALF THE GREY because wouldn't that be awesome? ;-)
    How tall are you?

  11. GREAT ANSWERS. Thanks for doing this. I think it's seriously epic you picked Legolas. Why didn't I think of him? Probably because I consider him too amazing to be my sidekick - though I wouldn't mind working with him, being his sidekick, and his apprentice archer :D

And GO WATCH ANNE OF GREEN GABLES RIGHT NOW! Or, uh, as soon as you get the chance. The first one was so goooooood. (But don't watch the third one. Totally deviating from the original story. Doesn't deserve it's existance.)
